A huge thank you to Matt and the entire team at Potfest for putting together a fantastic event at Compton Verney – beautifully organised and set in such a stunning location. We were thrilled to be part of this flagship ceramics event, and it was a real pleasure showcasing our equipment and chatting with so many visitors over the weekend.
We’re incredibly grateful to all our customers who visited the Cromartie stand, grabbed themselves a Potfest bargain, and stopped for a chat. Our stand featured a wide range of ceramic products, kilns, potter’s wheels, glazes, and underglazes, and many took advantage of our exclusive show-only discounts throughout the event.
2025 marked the fifth year of this flagship event, and it once again proved to be a highlight of the international ceramics calendar. Held in the beautiful grounds of Compton Verney, the show featured outstanding ceramic artists from across the UK under large, open-sided marquees set against a breathtaking backdrop.
Compton Verney is a historic house and award-winning arts venue set in 120 acres of Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown parkland. Located just fifteen minutes from Stratford upon Avon and Royal Leamington Spa, and less than 30 minutes’ drive from Coventry, it was the perfect setting for an inspiring weekend of ceramics and creativity, with over 90 of the UK’s finest ceramic makers taking part.
The sun made a few guest appearances between the clouds, but the rain held off when it mattered — and we couldn’t have asked for better company. We were kept busy all weekend and were delighted to see so many of our kilns and potter’s wheels heading off to new homes.
We're also excited to share that Potfest are using Cromartie wheels for their own demonstrations at all of their events this year — a lovely nod to the quality of our equipment, and something we’re incredibly proud of.
