<p><strong>How are shipping charges calculated?</strong></p>
<p>Shipping costs are based on the weight and destination of your order. UK mainland charges are displayed at checkout, while orders to the Highlands, Islands, and overseas will state <strong>"Shipping Quotation to Follow"</strong>. We will contact you with an accurate quote.</p>
<p><strong>Free Shipping:</strong></p>
<p>New trade customers receive <strong>free delivery</strong> on their first order over £250 (ex VAT, UK mainland only). Orders over £1000 (ex VAT) qualify for free economy shipping (3 working days) or next day delivery for £10.</p>
<p><strong>International Shipping:</strong> We ship worldwide; however, some restrictions may apply. Contact us for a quote.</p>
<p><strong>Collecting Orders:</strong> If you’d prefer to collect your order, select the "Collect" option at checkout and specify your collection date in the Special Instructions. If using your own courier, please inform us so we can package the order correctly.</p>
<p><strong>Delivery Timeframes:</strong></p>
<p>Orders placed before <strong>12 midday (Monday - Friday)</strong> are typically despatched the same day. Economy delivery takes up to 3 working days. Next day delivery is available but cannot be guaranteed due to unforeseen delays.</p>

Missed Deliveries

If no one is available to receive your order, the courier may leave a calling card, send a text, or email you with re-delivery details. Additional charges may apply for re-delivery. Please ensure someone is available to avoid extra costs.

Subject to exceptions, we are happy to accept returns of incorrectly ordered or mispicked items within 28 days of delivery. Your 28 day period begins on the date shown at the top of your invoice. Please call us on 01782 319435 or e-mail enquiries@cromartie.co.uk to inform us of an incorrectly picked or incorrectly ordered item. When returning items to us, please include a note or copy of your sales order or invoice with your goods to enable us to process your refund. We can either arrange a refund for the returned items or a credit note, the value of which can be deducted from your next order. Refunds will be credited to the original payment card. Goods must be returned in a fully resaleable condition and any lids, packaging and labels must be intact. Please note, we will only refund or credit the sale value of incorrectly ordered goods – not any return postage. We reserve the right to refuse an exchange or refund if goods are not returned in a saleable condition.
