Cadence Hi-Lite Magic Metallic Fabric Paints for Dark Textiles

Make your fabrics shine in the spotlight with Cadence Hi-Lite Magic Metallic Fabric Paint. Specially designed for dark textiles – especially black cotton – this creamy metallic fabric paint gives T-shirts, tote bags, caps, hoodies and more a brilliant, colour-shifting sheen that adds depth, dimension and a little extra “magic” to every design.

For smooth, even coverage, lightly mist the fabric with water first, then apply the paint using a roller or soft synthetic brush. Always place a protective layer under your fabric to stop colour transferring through to the reverse. Let your artwork dry naturally for the best hi-lite effect; if you use a hairdryer, keep it at a gentle distance on warm so the finish stays flawless.

Once fully dry, your designs stay soft, flexible and comfortable to wear, yet durable enough for machine washing at 30°C on a delicate cycle. This water-based, odourless and non-toxic paint (EN 71 & CE certified) offers excellent coverage, and colours can be mixed to create custom metallic shades – perfect for fabric painting workshops, personalised clothing and one-of-a-kind textile art.
