3D Casting with Andrea Williams
Andrea will demonstrate how to use alginate and potters plaster to create a beautiful three dimensional life casting.
Morning Session -9.00am Prompt Start:
Turtle on 8 Inch Tile
Turtle design on 8 inch tile. Fired mixed medium piece with stone finish- every piece will have an individual look. Choose from two different finishes, brown/green or blue (images shown.)
Followed by a choice of:
Sunset Beach Canvas
A beautiful canvas to brighten any wall, completed using acrylics and finished with stone.
Or:
Dry Brush a Christmas Vintage Truck
Take home this vintage style truck created using a dry brushing technique with NEW Gare acrylic Party Paints. The finished item can then also be illuminated with one of our Light Kits.
Break for Buffet Lunch
Afternoon Session (follows lunch)
Dotty Flamingo on Coupe Dinner Plate
This gorgeous flamingo design will be created using Pottery Glazes and Fun Writers.
Final Session (before close of day)
Glaze Pouring Demo with Maryann
Maryann will demonstrate a fantastic glaze pouring technique to show you how to create a beautiful twilight scene with a “resin” effect finish using Fun Strokes underglazes and Sand Storm speciality glaze.
Maryann will demonstrate a different colour and design on Sunday and Monday so if you attend both days you will see two completely different finishes.
Book both Sunday and Monday on our October workshops and pay just £100 per person (individual days £60 per day.) Sessions run from 10.00am till 4.00pm each day.
